A storyboard is a series of drawings that visually highlight the beats of a sequence. The 2D Animatic assembles the storyboard into an edit to define the rhythm of the sequence

PREVIS

Previs is a 3D translation of the 2D animatic. It serves to further refine shot timing and framing to optimize the production process.
